Fanci-Pooches & Purrs Concierge Service was founded in 2007 and Fanci-Pooches & Purrs Spa Boutique opened as of July 2009. This journey was inspired by my pooch Bijoux. Bijoux is one of the most affectionate, beautiful exotic shih-poo with lots of characters. She is named after my childhood dog. My love and commitment to Bijoux is unconditional for many reasons and one of them was being there for her at a time of need.
Bijoux was adopted from Barc Shelter in 2006. She was surrendered and I saved her. Bijoux was a sick pooch before I took her away from Barc. She had four major surgeries before a year of adoption. One of the surgery was related to cancer and the second one was kidney stones.
I couldn't take her back to the shelter even though time was hard, I find ways to accommodate her with the care she needed and today, she is well and happy. After her last surgery, I realized that I can also care for other pooches as well.
I graduated from Temple University with a bachelor degree of social work. I have experiences with working and helping different populations. I also have been involved in so many different types of businesses beside earning a degree in social work but a few months after meeting Bijoux, I had this drive to offer the same care for other pooches . Today, I have decided to provide private one-on-one service to pooch owners who are in need of quality service , don't have the time because of being tied up with work, and/or need to take vacation/holiday time without their pooch (es) and who are looking for a friendly establishment to pamper their pooch or purr.
