I
just want you to know, that I feel so amazing to have you as Betty's
groomer. She feels so comfortable with you, and it's clear that you are
such a loving person with the dogs. I've not had that feeling about
anyone who's groomed her before. You have a gift, and that's incredible.
Right
now, Betty's curled up between my knees, feeling very good being
groomed and clean. What a lucky person I am to have only those kind of
concerns.
I sincerely hope that everyone in
your family is all right. My heart goes out to everyone in Port au
Prince, but especially anyone who is close to you.

I have taken my dog here twice for nail clipping. I'm so glad it's here in the neighborhood. I use to have to schlep over to Posh Pets on Flatbush and pay THREE TIMES what Fancy Pooches charges for a simple nail clipping. It was outrageous.
Not only are their prices more than reasonable, the people are great, obvious pet lovers and makes my rescue dog feel as comfortable as he can get.

Letter of Recommendation for Guerline Macean
To Whom It May Concern,
After nearly 5 months of working with Guerline I cannot recommend her highly enough. I have two miniature pinschers. One, The Sheriff who is very outgoing and friendly and the younger smaller Simone who is far more skittish. Both of the dogs love her and she deals well with their sometimes eccentric behavior--barking at each passing dog, for instance, and the breed's notorious mischievousness which often times includes eating everything in sight.
Two years ago The Sheriff had renal failure and though he's in great shape now I'm fastidious about making sure he doesn't get into anything and Guerline is particularly sensitive about this, given she herself had rescued a sick dog. Also any time they've needed to got to the vet for any reason she's been immediately available.
She also housesat for me when I had to leave town for a weekend and as always could not have been more responsible, always updating me--which she does each time she takes the dogs out, both via text and detailed notes she leaves for me at home.
I met Guerline in a pinch after a full time assistant dropped out while I was doing a television series and Guerline made herself readily available. My schedule is extremely erratic, sometimes working all day and night, other times working until midnight or so and only then able to notify her about my call time the following morning and she always manages to make herself available.
Above all else she is as warm and loving with the animals as anyone I know.
In short, Guerline has been a lifesaver.

Guerline found me with my pooches (Lulu & Sherman) and offered her service because she saw that I had two dogs and probably needed a sitter every now and again. Guerline treats my dogs as if they were her dogs: she is always caring, loving and watches out for them. I like the fact that she would text me and keep me informed about how they are while I'm away. (They're usually playing so wont come to the phone!)
